A Raisin in The Sun 3

Linder, the man from Clybourne Park, is the man who goes around to meet with families who have bought property in Clybourne Park before they move in. He started his conversation with the Younger family very nicely. However, it ended by him pretty much saying Clybourne Park is a white community which does not accept Africans. This brought the Younger family down but they decided to move in anyway. In addition, because the house was only a portion of the 10,000 dollars, Mama gave the the rest to Walter. She instucted him to put $3,000 in the bank for Beneatha's college and the rest he could use for the liqour store. Near the end of the story, Bobo, one of Walters friends, comes over to bring a tornado of bad news. He tells the whole family that Willy Harris did not meet him that morning and had all the money they had given him. In addition, to make matters worse Walter had not gone to the bank so Beneatha's college fund was also lost.
